Our Approach

Residents may reasonably reach different conclusions. Our goal is to make sure those conversations start from the same facts.

We start with the public record.

Our work is grounded in documents: policies, budgets, contracts, meeting minutes, and public records requests. We report what the records show, and we say clearly what they don’t.

We don’t assign motives.

A question isn’t an accusation, and a disagreement isn’t evidence of wrongdoing. When the records resolve a question, we say so.

We separate what we know from what we don’t.

Every update identifies what’s been confirmed, what remains unknown, and where each issue stands.

We ask for responses, not just changes.

Good governance means clear answers: what was considered, what action is planned, and why.

We protect privacy.

We never publish a student’s or family’s personal information, and anyone who shares a concern with us can do so confidentially.

We correct our mistakes.

If we get something wrong, we’ll fix it promptly and note the correction.
